In Kiev, we crossing on my comfortable car with a panoramic roof and go out for small walks in the most beautiful places.
We often begin our acquaintance with Kiev on the embankment of the Dnieper, where at the monument to the founders of Kiev, let us recall the “traditions of antiquity deep”. On the way to the high Pechersk hills, we will stop at the foot of the majestic Monument Motherland and will for a short while stop at the Holy Gates of the most ancient Orthodox monastery - the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. We will admire the breathtaking panoramas of Dnepr panoramas from the high Kyiv's steep slopes, recall Nikolay Gogol.
Further, our route will pass by the Pechersk mansions, surprising by their stories. We will definitely visit the observation deck above the famous Kiev Maidan. Let's take a ride on the modern center of the Ukrainian capital, Kreschatik Street and the patriarchal streets of Podil. We will look at the Kiev University, the Opera Theater, the Vladimir Cathedral, Bessarabka. We will see the legendary stadium of the Dynamo-Kiev football team, Kiev funicular, Peter I Lodge, Kiev-Mohyla Academy.
Then, we will find ourselves in the most ancient part of Kiev, where we walk along the streets of the city of Yaroslav and the city of Vladimir. We will see unique architectural monuments of the XI — XII centuries: the Golden Gate, St. Sophia Cathedral, St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. Let us stop at the monuments to Yaroslav the Wise, Princess Olga, hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky.
On the legendary Starokievsky mountain, we will find a pagan temple, the golden idol of Perun and the Stone of the Prophetic Oleg - “From where Rouska earth came from.” Places where in the old days stood the princely chambers and the first stone church of the Tithe Church. From the height of the mountain, let's look at the Kiev Podol.
