About Kiev

The Ukrainian city of Kiev nowadays may be truly considered one of the most beautiful cities of the country, which was established for the very first time back in the XI-th century and since then it has grown and has developed quite a lot. Nowadays the Ukrainian capital contains more than 120 different historical and cultural sightseeings, architectural monuments and ancient buildings that are literally spread just all over the territory of the city and all of its nearest surroundings.
All the main streets of the city center are leading to the main square of the capital, which is considered the main center of the political life of the capital and the whole country in general. Besides that, the main sightseeing of Kiev and, probably, the most recognizable one is represented by the huge statue, called the Motherland Monument of about 102 meters high with the Historical Museum of Ukraine, situated straight under the monument.
