Transaero Announces 2009 Summer Timetable

A Russian airline company offers flights to nearly 80 destinations within Russia and to Europe, Asia, America and Africa

Transaero’s 2009 summer program has a greatly expanded domestic route network. This summer Transaero will fly to 20 destinations within Russia, more than double the number of destinations than the summer period last year.

From Moscow, domestic flights include service to Anadyr, Anapa, Blagoveschensk, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Magadan, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Omsk, Samara, Sochi, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Ufa, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Due to increasing demand for service to destinations in the Russian Far East, Transaero Airlines has expanded the frequency of flights from Moscow to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Vladivostok. For greater comfort and safety, service to all destinations in the Russian Far East will be aboard modern Boeing 777 and Boeing 747 aircrafts.

Transaero now has regular service to more destinations within CIS countries from Moscow - to Aktau, Almaty, Astana, Atyrau, Chimkent, Karaganda and Uralsk in Kazakhstan, to Kiev, Odessa and Simferopol in Ukraine and to Bukhara and Tashkent in Uzbekistan.

European destinations in Transaero's summer network will include scheduled flights from Moscow to London, U.K.; Berlin and Frankfurt in Germany; to Alicante, Barcelona, Tenerife in Spain; to Vienna in Austria; Split in Croatia; and Pathos on Cyprus. From St. Petersburg Transaero will offer regular flights to Barcelona, Heraklion and Munich.

Transaero Airlines will offer regular service from Moscow to Bangkok in Thailand, Sanya in China, Denpasar in Indonesia and Male in the Maldivian Republic.

To the Middle East and North Africa, Transaero will offer regular flights from Moscow to Tel-Aviv in Israel, to Hurghada and Sharm-El-Sheikh in Egypt and Monastir in Tunisia.

Transaero will also continue its regular service from Moscow to Montreal and Toronto in Canada and Punta-Kana in the Dominican Republic.

Apart from its scheduled flights Transaero offers a diversified charter program that will include flights from Moscow to Bulgaria (Burgas, Varna), Croatia (Dubrovnik, Pula), Cyprus (Larnaca), Greece (Araxos, Heraklion, Kerkyra, Kos, Rhodes), Italy (Treviso), Montenegro (Tivat), Portugal (Faro), Spain (Ibizza, Malaga, Palma-de-Mallorca), Turkey (Antalia) and United Arab Emirates (Dibao). From St. Petersburg Transaero will operate charter flights Croatia (Pula) and Greece (Araxos, Rhodes).

As the largest Russian airline in serving the summer tourist market, Transaero is offering travel agents and other tour partners even greater discounts on blocks of seating in the current summer season than last year. Airfare to destinations in Turkey are from 1.3 to 1.9 times lower, to destinations in Greece airfare is 1.2 to 1.6 times lower and airfare to destinations in Croatia, Montenegro and Tunisia are from 1.2 to 1.5 times lower, depending on seating class. Transaero is working hard to make summer travel packages more accessible for Russians traveling in all classes to the most popular destination.
