How to plan a shopping tour for your travelers?

Since the moment you decided to hold a shopping tour, you have to plan, think over and take into account all the smallest details of your future “trip”.

In order to make your “trip” the most comfortable, successful and interesting for both travelers and a guide (i. e. you), you need to always remember about following three steps while planning your shopping tour:

  • Season – as a rule, people go abroad for shopping tours only when it’s a period of discounts (otherwise, there’s no sense in making such a long trip). In some countries discounts period starts at the certain date of the certain season each year (for example, for summer collection), in another countries just on a specified day of the week and so on. It’s very important to take into account these factors while planning the dates of the tour.
  • Route – the next step is deciding what kind of shops you’re going to include in your “must-visit” list: expensive ones or the ones that are much cheaper, with business or casual clothes and so on. It’s also important to specify whether you’re staying in one certain city or are going to move around your neighborhood, for example.
  • Transportation – the problem of transportation is considered important not only because you may have to move to another city or around your neighborhood. As a rule, major part of the malls is located in the uptowns, so it’s not quite easy to reach them. Of course, there are always some public buses that go straight over there, but as your travelers come from far off, they would probably love to go there with much more comfort – that’s why car rent is also the duty of a private guide.
