Bally Technologies’ Tina Kilmer and Denyse Moore Named 2009 “Great Women of Gaming”

Prestigious “Proven Leader” and “Rising Star” Awards Honor Gaming’s Best and Brightest Women Executives from Around the World

Bally Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines, casino-management, and networked and server-based systems for the global gaming industry, announced that Tina Kilmer, Vice President of Product Compliance; and Denyse Moore, Senior Director/Client Services West for Bally Systems; won 2009 Great Women of Gaming “Proven Leader” and “Rising Star” awards, respectively, by a panel of independent judges from across the gaming industry.

Kilmer and Moore were among 11 women recognized out of 38 nominations received. They were honored for their professional achievements, commitment to company and colleagues, dedication to mentoring other women in gaming and in their professions, and strong overall work-life balance in this yearly awards competition sponsored by Casino Enterprise Management magazine.

As Vice President of Product Compliance, Kilmer oversees all of the Company’s game product compliance activities, a role that is critical to the Company’s success. She works directly with a number of worldwide gaming regulatory agencies, including state testing facilities and Gaming Labs International (GLI). She has held a number of key management positions with the Company in the areas of product compliance and engineering. During her tenure at Bally Technologies, she has developed a number of new programs and initiatives that have increased the Company’s revenues. She has also played an important role in the Company’s global expansion efforts.

Kilmer has received numerous awards and honors during her career, including the Presidential Who’s Who Among Business and Professional Achievers, Argonne National Laboratory Pacesetter Award, YWCA Outstanding Woman Leader Award, Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, and the Dow Chemical Electrical Engineering Merit Award. Her professional affiliations include the Society of Women Engineers and Advisory Board Member, Woman Engineer Magazine. Kilmer graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. She is also a registered Professional Engineer.

Moore began her gaming career in 1999 as a senior consultant for the accounting firm Arthur Andersen, where she managed the installation of Bally’s Casino Marketplace (CMP) system application at the Greektown, Isleta, and Mystic Lakes gaming properties. Additionally, she designed and delivered training courses, managed training documentation development teams, and coordinated trainers and trainees for major systems rollouts at various gaming properties.

Moore joined Bally Technologies in 2002 as Training Manager and a year later was promoted to Director of Training. Her responsibilities expanded to include management of a team of 17 employees, developing strategic plans for Bally’s system training department, and the transforming of the Company’s systems training department from a cost center to a profit center.

She was promoted in 2007 to her current role, in which she manages a department of more than 35 employees and shares responsibility for annual client services revenue. Her department provides around-the-clock customer service and support for Bally’s systems products in the western United States as well as Canada and Mexico. Additionally, she and her team execute new casino system implementations, competitive system replacements, upgrades, and product add-ons to existing customer systems. This also includes responsibility for new product rollouts.

Moore received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Western Oregon University, and her Master of Arts degree in Organizational and Intercultural Communication from Arizona State University.

She is a member of the National Black MBA Association, the National Communication Association, and the National Association for Female Executives. Her awards and honors include the Regents Graduate Academic Scholarship, Julia McCulloch Smith Award for Western Oregon University’s Outstanding Graduating Woman, and the Underrepresented Minority Achievement Scholarship.
