Buffalo Wild Wings® CEO Receives Career Achievement Award

Buffalo Wild Wings® (NASDAQ: BWLD) is proud to announce that Sally Smith, president and chief executive officer, received the Career Achievement Award from the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. This yearly honor was announced at the Women in Business luncheon this afternoon as nominees gathered to celebrate the Twin Cities’ most influential women.

Smith has served as president and chief executive officer since July 1996, as a board member since August 1996 and was the Company’s chief financial officer from 1994 to 1996. Prior to joining Buffalo Wild Wings, she was the chief financial officer of Dahlberg, Inc., the manufacturer of Miracle-Ear hearing aids, from 1983 to 1994. Smith began her career with KPMG, LLP as a CPA. She also serves on the board of the National Restaurant Association as vice chairman.

Each year, the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Women in Business Awards honors recipients in three categories; 25 Women to Watch, 25 Industry Leaders and one woman with the Career Achievement Award. All candidates are chosen by a collective group of editors.
