“Chef to Plate: Celebrating Restaurants Serving Up Gluten Free Awareness”

Cheeseburger in Paradise recognizes the importance of gluten-free menu options for guests and has dedicated itself to creating innovative and tasty alternatives for the gluten-free community. For the second year in a row, Cheeseburger in Paradise is participating in “Chef to Plate,” a gluten-free restaurant awareness program sponsored by the Gluten Intolerance Group of North America, as an establishment that offers appealing choices for gluten-free diners.

Cheeseburger in Paradise has become a popular choice for families seeking out gluten-free meals and also has a full menu offering something to please everyone, whether it be a party of two or a large group or event.

Cheeseburger in Paradise does not use peanut oil in any menu items and specifically chefs practice meal preparation techniques that ensure the safety of diners with allergies and other special dietary needs. Additional gluten-free menu items also are currently under development.

More than 15 million people in the United States have some form of gluten intolerance which can lead to serious health concerns. Gluten, the protein found in wheat, rye and barley is commonly found in such foods as bread, pasta, beer and pastries.

In order to help spread the word and raise even more awareness around the cause, Cheeseburger in Paradise is also encouraging diners to spend one weekend living completely gluten-free as part of the “Gluten Challenge” taking place nation-wide on May 22 and 23.

“Our focus at Cheeseburger in Paradise is to create delicious and exciting menu options that everyone can feel good about and enjoy, regardless of whether or not they are gluten intolerant,” said Tom Kempsey, Cheeseburger in Paradise Vice President of Culinary Innovation.
