About Hanoi

The city of Hanoi nowadays is considered the capital of Vietnam for more than thousands of years already and the most speical thing about it is that it manages to harmonically combine the cultures of East and West, Chinese traditions and French architecture. The city of Hanoi is situated straight along the river and consists of seven different districts, surrounded by the suburbs.
The most interesting and attractive thing about Hanoi is that it is considered absolutely unpopular among the foreign travelers, so that you are not risking at all to get lost in the huge crowds of th foreign travelers and wandering tourists, and you will be able to peacefully sink into the ancient atmopshere of this oldest city. But even though that the ancient spirit may be easily felt ven in the tiniest corners of Hanoi, the city will not look unusual for the European travelers, due to its large boulevards and highest skyscrapers, old, but pretty residential houses and ancient mansions, but, at the same time, peaceful parks and charming pagodas of the Eastern culture.
