The unforgettable celebration of Navruz - The Spring Feast and beginning of the New Year in Central Asia
Participation in the Navruz celebration (Oriental New Year, which is celebrated on 21st of March) in Mahallya (local community) including preparation of the traditional foods "Sumalyak"" and "Khalisa", feast, experience local customs, traditions and celebration of Navruz with local people. And be in ancient cities as Samarkand and Bukhara.
Day 1: Home Contry – Tashkent
Arrival from Hometown by … Airlines to Tashkent and transfer to the hotel. After shower and dinner beginning of the city tour and visit Chorusu bazaar where they are put for sale a variety of local products and crafts. After visiting old city: the mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shaoshi , Madrassa Barak Khan, the mosque Telyashaykh, Madrassa Kukeldash, Juma Mosque. And preceding the visit from Amur Temur square. Overnight in Tashkent.
Day 2: Tashkent – Samarkand
After breakfast transfer to Samarkand.
Arrival in Samarkand. Check in hotel.
After rest starting of sightseeing tour in “Eden of the Orient”- that name was given to Samarkand by the philosophers and poets of the past.
Visit Registan square (XVII c) including Ulugbek Madrassah (1417-1420), Sher-Dor Madrassah (1619-1636), Tillya-Kori (1647-1660) Madrassah, Gur-Emir mausoleum, Bibi-Khanum mosque (XVc.), Shokhi-Zinda (XII-XVc) architectural assemble, Ulugbek observatory (XVc.) ), excavation of an ancient city and museum of Afrosiyab, Tombstone of Saint Danyar.
After visit famous paper shop and carpet factory in Samarkand which still makes paper and carpets by hand and by old technology.
Overnight in Samarkand.
Day 3: Samarkand-Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to Bukhara. Arrival in Bukhara. Check in hotel. Full day in Bukhara. AM portion of city tour for 4 hrs with visits to the Ark Fortress (I-XX CC), Bolo Hauz Mosque (XVIII C), Samanids Mausoleum (IX-X CC), Chashma-Ayub Mausoleum (XII-XVI CC), Lunch. PM portion of s/s tour on foot along the old town of Bukhara from Poi- Kalyan complex with Kalyan Minaret (XII C) through orient bazaars with three trade domes of Toki Zargaron (XV C), Toki Sarrafon (XVI C), Toki Telpak Furushon (XVI C), Ulugbek Madrassah (XV C), Abdulazizkhan Madrassah (XVII C) to the Lyabi Hauz complex (XVI -XVII CC). Night in Bukhara.
Day 4: Bukhara
Breakfast in the hotel. Transfer to outside of Bukhara for sightseeing: Bagautdin Nakhshbandi Complex - a center of Sufism (XIV-XVI CC, 14 km outside the town), Sitorai Mokhi Khosa - summer residence of the last Emir of Bukhara (XIX-XX, 4 km outside the town). Afternoon visit to the Chor Bakr Necropolis (XVI-XX CC, 10 km outside the town), back to Bukhara and a visit to the Chor – Minor (Four Minarets, XIX C).Dinner in Nadir Divan Begi Madrassah with folk show. Night in Bukhara.
Day 5: Bukhara-Tashkent – Departure flight
After breakfast transfer to Tashkent passes for “Tamerlane’s gate”, a natural rift in the rock of the mountain, where it is said that the subjects expected to welcome the emperor to return from his victorious campaigns. Arriving in the capital departure flight to home country.
