Our walk will begin at the White House Visitor Center ( 1450 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20230). You will learn the most important things about the residence of the current President of the United States, about the key decisions that were made here and the political intrigues of the Oval Office. From the south lawn of the White House, we'll take a look at the Jefferson Memorial, and then take a walk to neighboring, no less significant sights. You will see the facades of the US Treasury and the houses of Dolly Madison, wife of the 4th President of the United States, St. John’s Episcopal Church, and Renwick Gallery. You'll find out to whom and why there are monuments erected at nearby Lafayette Square, at the Eisenhower old Executive Building we will talk about the construction of the presidential apparatus in America. And Washington's oldest 17th street will take you to the very beginnings of the city.
