Local people call San Diego unknown paradise. This city is considered to be “America’s Finest City”, because of its mild climate, proximity to water, beautiful sceneries, huge number of excellent opportunities for entertainment.
I offer you 2 days in fairytale, to feel relaxed resort atmosphere of the city and see its bright colors!
Day 1: Los Angeles – San Diego
Departure from Los Angeles early in the morning. After reaching San Diego you will visit the picturesque European town La Jolla. There you will see the fur seals and pelicans, flying in the sky, enjoy wonderful views of the ocean and the city from one the best observation decks.
Then you will go to Point Loma peninsula, which offers exciting views of all San Diego right up to Mexico. After this, you will visit Coronado Island with its famous “Del Coronado” Island, in which “Some Like It Hot” was filmed in 1959.
At the end of the tour you will see the downtown: quay, Maritime Museum, Gaslamp Quarter – the center of nightlife in San Diego. In the evening you will have free time for walking and sightseeing.
Day 2: Balboa Park – Zoo – Los Angeles
At the heart of the city there is a huge urban cultural park – Balboa Park. It reminds medieval Spanish town and consists of 15 museums, theater and beautiful gardens. You will have the opportunity to walk through its shady avenues, enjoy the startling architecture and to make a lot of colorful pictures.
Next to Balboa Park there is one of the best zoos in the world. It is has more than 4,000 exotic animals of 800 species. Among them you will find giant pandas from China, koalas from Australia, chimpanzee from the central Africa, Komodo dragon from Indonesia, Asian rhinos, different kinds of birds, and many others. In the evening you will return to Los Angeles
Note: you can go to the “Sea World” or free time in San Diego, instead of visit to the Zoo.
