About Istanbul

Mysterious and great, noisy and amazingly beautiful - these are the main words that immidiately come up to your mind, when you hear about one of the most popular Turkish travel destinations - the city of Istanbul. The modern city nowadays really represents the bridge between the Asia and Europe, between the traditional East and modern West. During its whole long and rich history, the city of Istanbul has managed to change few of its names and to become the capital of four different empires. The former capital of Turkey is nowadays considered one of the main economical, cultural, historical, political, social and even tourist centers of the country, which is geographically divided into two different parts.
Modern Istanbul nowadays represents an absolutely varied city, where every even the most experienced traveler will be able to find something interesting exactly for himself. Istanbul is the exact city, where th tiny cozy yards are harmonically combines with the great large squares with the many centuries old history, where narrow Eastern streets lead to the wide boulevards and where the ancient mosques and historical objects are built in the nearest neighborhood with the modern residential houses and old family mansions.
