About Stockholm
Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and, at the same time, one of the mot picturesque cities, full of the typical northern sightseeings. As every classical European capital, besides of an incredibly large number of architectural, historical and cultural monuments and sightseeings, the city of Stockholm offers all its foreign guests a large variety of absolutely worthy museums and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants with the delicious local cuisine, the most varied hotels, lots of stores and shops of the local designers and absolutely rich and developed night life.
The city of Stockholm appeared for the very first time more than 700 years ago (can you even imagine that amount of time?) and since then it has developed and enlarged quite a lot. Modern Stockholm nowadays is situated on the 14 islands straight in the cold Baltic Sea that are connected with each other with 57 gorgeous ancient bridges. But nevertheless, all the major part of the main sightseeings of the capital are situated in that way that it is uite convenient to reach all of them walking on foot.
The city in general has an incredibly large number of worthy tourist sightseeings that in general are situated in the very center of the capital, but nevertheless it is better to carefully plan your trip to Stockholm in advance, in order to not miss a thing while staying there, as the only one visit to this northern capital is not enough to see all of the architectural, historical and cultural sightseings of Stockholm.
