About Dakar

The city of Dakar nowadays represents the capital of Senegeal and, at the same time, one of the largest trade and tourist center in the whole Western Africa. First of all, the city attracts foreign travelers from all over the world with its large variety of sandy beaches and one of the best sea reasorts in the whole country is situated in only about twenty minutes away from the capital.
The snow-white President Palace, which was built in the city back in 1906 straight on the mall of the ocean, is considered nowadays one of the main and, at the same time, the most recognizable sightseeings in the whole country. Besides that, the city of Dakar offers its foreign visitors a quite large number of historical, architectural, religious and cultural sightseengs, represented by the numerous themed museums that are totally worth visiting, gorgeous mosques, built in the traditional rchtectural styles of that area and picturesque national parks and nature zones that are situated not so far from the capital of Senegal.
