About Oradea
The Romanian city of Oradea nowadays represents a quite large local city with the population of a little bit more than 205 thousands of people, which makes it the eleventh largest city in Romania. The city is situated straight on the border with Hungary, which makes it a quite popular travel destination not only for all the Romanian citizens but also the travelers from the nearest cities of the neighboring countries. The city of Oradea as mentioned in the local chronicles for the very first time back in 1113 (can you even imagine that?). The main sightseeings of the city are represented by its ancient districts, covered with the numerous old houses and buildings of Barocco architectural style, attracting travelers with the ancient beauty and quite good conditions, as all the most significant local buildings of the past ages were reconstructed back in 2002.
