About Brasov

The famous and mysterious Transylvania starts exactly in the city of Brasov and represents a quite cozy and beautiful city, surrounded by the large mountain chains, covered by the ancient forests, filled with the ancient gothic churches and old monasteries, and picturesque castles, towering above the nearest city s surroundings. The oldest parts of the city are carefully protected nowadays and they look almost exactly as they were many many centuries ago with its tiny many colored houses with the tiled roofs, narrow cozy streets and amazing views of the surrounding mountains.
The gothic Black Church, numerous museums and art galleries, tiny ancient churches and many colored houses of the central square - these are the main things that create that special cozy atmosphere of this city and annually attract such a large number of foreign travelers from all over the world. Besides that, Bran Castle or as it is more known among the foreign travelers - the Castl of Dracula - is situated in only about fifteen kilometers away from the city of Brasov and is usually included in the must-visit destination of all of the travelers that are staying in Brasov during their vacation.
