About Lima

Even though that the city of Lima is almost always overcrowded with foreign travelers and local citizens and there is always a lot of noise on the streets - interesting and vivid city of Lima nowadays is considered one of the main tourist destinations of Peru and is even included in UNESCO World Heritage List. The history says that the gorgeous city of Lima was established for the very first time back in 1535 and since then it has developed and enlarges quite a lot.
The Old Lima or the eldest part of its city, represented by the main square of the city and its surrounding destricts, is considered the main and the most significant sightseeing of Lima, from where it is even recommended to the foreign visitors to start their trip around the city. Ancient fountain, tiny cozy parks, large old squares, narrow picturesque streets and hundreds of ancient historical and architectural monuments and sightseeings - these are the main things that annually attract thousands and thousands of foreign travelers from all over the world to see this absolutely gorgeous city with their own eyes.
