About Cusco
Cusco nowadays is considered one of the most ancient and unusual cities in the whole world, which is situated on the height of about 3500 meters above the sea level. The whole city of Cusco in general is included nowadays in UNESCO World Heritage List and is carefully protected, as the local houses and churches were built straight inside of the local mountains many many centuries ago and they have an incredibly long and rich history of many many centuries long. Even though that the city has a quite large number of the most varied cultural, architectural and historical sightseeings, it s considered one of the most vivisted places in the whole Peru, due to its most recognizable and the most famous local sightseeng - Machu Picchu - which is situated in only about 112 kilometers away from Cusco.
