About Marrakesh

The city of Marrakesh nowadays represents the one of the ancient capitals of Morocco, situated straight among the large mountain chains in an incredibly picturesque area of the country. Besides that, the city has a quite convenient geographical location, wich makes traveling to another popular local cities of Marocco quite convenient from Marrakesh. For example, the city of Casablanca is situated in only about 3,5-4 hours away from Marrakesh, but as the city is situated straight on the coast of the ocean, thousands and thousands of foreign travelers come here annually from all over the world as a rule in order to spend their whole vacation resting on the local beaches.
The Old City of Marrakesh is surounded by the large many kilometers long wall and its main square - Jemaa-El-Fna - is even included nowadays in UNESCO World Heritage List. Besides that, a rather popular local ski-resort of a rather high-quality is situated in only about one hours away from the city and is open for all the fans of skiing starting from December and till the very end of April. Besides that, the resort is very popular among all the lovers of trekking and jeep tours among the local mountains.
