About Hincesti

The city of Hincesti nowadays represents a small Moldavian city and municipality with the population of a little bit less than 12,5 thousands of people and, at the same time, the very center of Hincesti Region of the country. The city is situated in only about 36 kilometers away from the Moldavian capital, the city of Chisinau.
The city in general is not considered a popular local tourist destination of Moldova, as the tourism industry is not developed quite well enough in Hincesti, but nevertheless, it may turn soon in a more attractive tourist route in the nearest future. Even though, the city of Hincesti is not considered so much popular among the foreign visitors of Moldova, it has some interesting historical and architectural sightseeings to show to the guests of the city, including the ancient castle of the end of XIX-th century and the palace of early beginning of the XIX-th century, which was reconstructed few years ago and nowadays has turneone of the popular sightseeing of that region.
