About Balti

Balti nowadays is considered the second largest city in Moldova after its capital, the city of Chisinau, which has the population of over than 146 thousands of people and is even sometimes called by the local citizens the Northern capital of the country. The city in general has a lot of different sightseeings and tourist entertainments, placed just all over the city, including numerous parks and walking areas, different kinds of cafes, bars and restaurants with the traditional Moldavian cuisine, museums, galleries and exhibition centers, architectural sightseeings and hisorical monuments that may be found even in the smallest hidden corners of the city. There are even few quite large festivals that are annually held exactly on the territory of this cozy Northern city that usually attract hundreds and hundreds of foreigners and even local citizens from the whole country and from the neighboring countries.
