About MALDIVES
Maldives are represented by the numerous picturesque atolls that are spread in the warm crystal clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. The whole country is completely filled with the peaceful and calm atmosphere of its long large white sandy beaches, various high quality hotels, beautiful nature, breath-taking views and landscapes of the island, pleasant weather, nice climate, peaceful silence and absolutely amazing underwater world.
The capital of the country is considered the city of Male.
There is a very small number of sightseeings on the island itself and in its cities (even in the capital), but nevertheless a rather huge number of worthy sightseeings is concentrated on the underwater area of Maldives.
The most popular tourist entertainment on Maldives is diving, as the vivid coral reefs surround almost every island. Besides that, such activities as surfing, windsurfing, water skis, snorkeling, tennis, beach volleyball and fishing are also widely spread in that area.
