About Aqaba

The city of Aqaba nowadays represents a quite young resort, situated on the coast of the Red Sea in about 335 kilometers from the city of Amman. The city annually attracts hundreds and hundreds of visitors to Jordan and its resorts with the crystal clear sea waters, large comfortable beaches and all the necessary conditions for beach vacation and all of its tourist entertainments. Due to the mountainous landscapes of Aqaba, the local climate is absolutely comfortable during the all year round, so that it is possible to swim in the sea waters during the any season. The weather is quite comfortable even during the daytime, as the real strong heat begins only in the afternoon hours.
The city of Aqaba nowadays has six large diving centers that are literally spread all over the city and that have all the necessary conditions both for professionals and even for the very beginners. That is why the city of Aqaba is considered one of the favorite local places for all the lovers of snorkeling, diving and just simple swimming. By the way, The Royal Diving Center is considered the most popular one, which is situated in only about fifteen kilometers away from Aqaba.
