About Venice

The unqiue and so much varied city of Venice with its gorgeous architecture, pretty many-colored houses, large squares, delicious scents, stunning views and narrow channels is considered nowadays one of the most popular tourist destinaions in the whole world and there is almost no experinced traveler that have seen th world and had never been to Venice. It seems that the city of Venice is considered the most popular Italian city and is included nowadays in all the top lists and destination lists of the cities that should be definitely visited at least once during your life. That is why there is no wonder that all the old part of the city, including its Lagoon is included nowadays in UNESCO World Heritage List.
The main and, probably, the most recognizable sightseeing of Venice is the famoys San Marco Square, which is so much promoted in all the travel agencies, magazines and travel guides. The square amazes the travelers that come here for the very first time with its large sizes, beautiful architecture and varied sightseeings situated all in the one place. And don t forget the numerous cafes and restaurats, placed all over the square, serving the legendary Italian dishes with those fascintaing smells and tastes. Absolutely every building situated on the square is conidered the real art work with its own history.
The main things that everyone should definitely include in their must-do list, while staying in Venice are: taking a ride along one of the local channels, listening to the songs of merry gondoliers, visiting the famous Murano and Burano islands with their many-colored houses and feeling like you have just got into a fairy-tale, admiring the famous chapel, surrounded by the hundreds of pigeons at San Marco Square and managing to visit the famous Venice Carnival yourself, participating in one of the world s most populr events and having fun.
