About Kuressaare

The small city of Kuressare is situated in the Southern part of the Saaremaa Island, shich is considered the largest one in Estonia. The modern city of Kuressaare was mentioned in local chronicles for the very first time in 1381.

Besides that, the city is considered quite popular among the foreign travelers due to its high quality beaches with the crystal clear warm waters. The official beach season in the city of Kuressare lasts the whole summer, starting on the first of June and till the very last day of summer. The local beaches have all the necessary conditions for the visitors, including even the families with children and all the main tourist and beach entertainment, like volleyball, Aqua Park, water attractions, golf fields and many many other things.
