About Puerto Baquerizo Moreno

Puerto Baquerizo Moreno represents nowadays a small city with the population of only about 6672 people, which is situated on St. Cristobal Island (which, by the way, is considered the fur seal island, due to the high population of these animals) and forms the part of the Galapagos Islands.
Even though the city is small, it s considered a rather developed one, as it has its own airport, a rather large and picturesque sea port and also even has few quite good universities, situated on the territory of the city. Not so long time ago, tourism industry has started developing quite fast in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, as the number of the most varied restaurants, bars, cafes and even hotels of different quality has increased a lot. The city is a proud owner of rather good beaches, with the large territory, snow-white sand and crystal clear warm waters (and seals fur seals are everywhere).
