The archaeological site of Curium with its the Greek Theatre is one of the most important archaelogical sites of Cyprus with an amazing view of the Episkopi bay and Limassol area . The House of Eustolios (Roman baths) with the mosaic floors dates back to the 4th centuary AD and gives you a clear idea of the life style of that period. Also you can visit the ruins of the sanctuary of Apollo Hylates. Apollon was the Greek God of Music and Light and here in Cyprus was worshiped as God of the woodlands as welll and he was the protector of Kourion kingdom. Then moving on towards Paphos to the West side of the island, and the first capital of Cyprus we have a short stop at “Petra tou Romiou”, the legendary Birthplace of Aphrodite, the ancient Greek goddess of Love and beauty. In Pahos by the small picturesque port and medieval fort you will visit the House of Dionyssos, where mosaics narrate the adventures of the Greek Gods are considered some of the most beautiful arts in the Mediterranean. We will also have the opportunity to visit the Tombs of the Kings that date from the 3rd century B.C.Then we can pass by St. Solomoni's catacombs and St. paul's pillar which are located in the old center of Paphos town. There you will also observe the ruins of one of the biggest early Christian Basilica's of the East Mediterranean. On the way back we could have a short stop at Yeroskipou village and try some of the local sweets while having coffee in the "Kafenion" of the town square.
