About Varadero

The wonderful Cuban city of Varadero may be easily described with the only one words combination nice beaches. About twenty kilometers of the large, clean, sandy beaches, warm, crystal clear waters of the Atlantic Ocean and incredibly large variety of the most different hotels are the main things that create that special atmosphere of Varadero and represent the main reasons that annually attract such a large number of foreign travelers from all over the world. The city of Varadero with the population of only about 27,000 of people is situated in about 137 kilometers from the Cuban capital, the city of Havana. The city in general doesn t have a large number of historical and architectural sightseeings, but nevertheless, it owns an incredibly large number of the most varied tourist entertainments to offer to its visitors. The main things that everyone should definitely include in their must-do list, while staying in Varadero are: learning to dance one of the local dances (at least, try them), finding your favorite traditional Cuban dish, relaxing on the large sandy beach, forgetting about everything and going on a swim with the dolphins.
An enormous number of foreign travelers come here annually to lie on the Cuban sun, listen to the rhythms of salsa, play golf, party at the numerous local nightclubs, taste the delicious local rum and, of course, enjoy the air of freedom.
