About Moron

Moron is a tiny Cuban city with a population of only about 50 thousands of people, placed in the middle of the country, which was established in 1643 and is popular nowadays among the foreign travelers, due to its multiple architectural monuments and that special Cuban atmosphere that may be easily felt in every smallest corner of the city.
The city also attracts lots of agro and eco tourism lovers, fans of nature, hiking and photographers from all over the world, due to the numerous nature beauties, picturesque surroundings and shiny lakes, spread all around the city.
Laguna de Leche or the Milk Lake is considered one of the main local sightseeing, situated in only about 5 kilometers from the city of Moron, which got its fame among the foreign visitors due to the unusual water color, picturesque surroundings and a very large number of the most varied exotic birds species, dwelling around the lake. Besides that, Laguna de Leche is considered one of the largest lakes in the whole country.
