About Zhangjiajie

Zhangjiajie nowadays represents a famous Chinese nature reserve and, at the same time, one of the most recognizable visit cards of the country, attracting thousands and thousands of foreign visitors to this place every year. The National Park Zhangjiajie was established in 1982. It has the territory of about 13000 square kilometers and is situated just near the city of the same name. The National park is famous all over the world, due to its absolutely varied nature beauties, including the high mountain chains, misty peaks, thick green forests, exotic plants ans ore than 500 animals and birds species, dwelling all over its territory. Moreover, there s the absolutely pleasant climate in Zhangjiajie National park, as there s never too hot or too cold in that area, which makes traveling around quite comfortable for travelers.
Besides the nature beauties, the city of Zhangjiajie offers its visitors a large number of unique local sightseeings, like, for example, the Yellow Dragon Cave, which is about 140 meters high and is considered nowadays the biggest karst cave in the whole world.
Tianmenshan Mountain is 1518 meters high and is considered the main sightseeing of the region. The mountain has got its fame, due to the numerous legends and mysterious stories that are told about this place, which attracts thousands of foreigners to this area from all over the world. The top of the mount may be reached by the world s longest cable road of about 7455 meters long, which provides travelers ith the breath-taking views on the mountains, woods and all the local surroundings.
