1.People's Square
People's Square is start of this tour. It is the centre of Shanghai. On people square you will find the Town Hall building, the famous Shanghai Museum and Shanghai Theater. It also a real crosspoint of metro lines, where you can go to all parts of Shanghai. When you book my tour we will start with a visit of the exhibition hall of the Shanghai Urban Planning office. Here you can look at a big mini Shanghai model and you can get big overview of Shanghai.
2.The Bund
The Bund is the most famous landmark of Shanghai. It is the border between the old city (Puxi) and the new city(Pudong). The real border is Hangpu river and the Bund is on the Puxi side. The Bund is the place were in the past ships landed and bring their good and load all the products they buy in China and bring to the western world. Their are lots of restored historical buildings. And when it is dark you can see the old Shanghai skyline when all the buildings have beautiful city lighting. And when you turn around you can see the new part of Shanghai called Pudong. And you will see the new famous skyline of Shanghai. Especially in the evening you will enjoy to see all the beautiful lighting. The Bund is always crowded. You will never be alone. It is the place where Chinese and foreign people meet .
3. LuJiaZui
Lujiazui - Is the first Pudong Landmarks. We can walk over the Pudong Riverside Promenade called Binjiang avenu. And you can look at the Bund. Than we walk into the LuJiaZui area where you will find the 4 highest buildings of Shanghai. They are all close to each other. We can go to top of the Tower building. This is the newest and highest building of China and 3rd in the world. It is 632 meters high and on a clear and sunny day you have a beautiful view of Shanghai. And we can walk on Lujiazui Central Green Belt and Century Boulevard.
4.Yu Garden
A famous classical garden in south Shanghai. It is a real place where you can see at part of old Chinese history surrounded by the modern future of China. Now this is a little spot of traditional China surrounded by modern skyscrapers. The first building was made during the Ming Dynasty, more than 400 years ago. Besides the garden you can also visit Shanghai old town, where we can visit one of the best restaurant to eat dumplings.
5. Xin Tian Di
Xintiandi is a car-free area. It is composed of restored traditional shikumen ("stone gate") houses on narrow alleys. In daytime it is a modern shopping mall. But most famous it is as one of the centres of were you can enjoy the famous Shanghai nightlife.
