About Salzburg

The Austrian city of Salzburg nowadays is considered a rather developed one from the tourist point of view, especially including its ski-resorts. The city is equally interesting for the foreign visitors both in summer and winter, as it has a very large number of the most varied sightseeings and entertainment to offer to its visitors in any season.
In summer Salzburg attracts foreigners with its numerous lakes and their crystal clear waters, but in winter the city gathers foreigners on its multiple skiing-centers of Alps that have all the necessary conditions, intended both for professionals and for beginners and other modern infrastructure for a perfect winter vacation.
The main tourist sightseeings are concentrated in the southern part of Salzburg. Leopoldskron Castle is considered one of the most popular ones, due to its unusual architectural style. Another popular tourist destination is the Hellbrunn Castle, situated on the territory of a large picturesque park of the same name and built in the beginning of the XVII-th century.
Klessheim Castle is situated in about four kilometers from Salzburg and nowadays contains a large and very popular among the foreigners casino.
Werfen Ice Caves are considered one of the most unique sightseeings of Salzburg that represent the largest system of the ice caves in the whole world. The caves are situated in about 40 kilometers from Salzburg and may be easily explored within one of the numerous tours, offered to the foreign guests of the region.
