This seven days long tour around Armenia includes visiting all the main sightseeings of the country, including historical, architectural and nature ones. You can see the program of this tour straight below:
Day 1
At first, we are going to explore the hospitable city of Yerevan and then go straight to the picturesque lake Kari. There you will have some time to walk around, take beautiful photos and even have lunch with the view on the local surroundings.
Day 2
After that, the next day we are going to go hiking and go climb the Northern peak of Mount Aragats, which is about 4090 meters high and which provides all the bravest travelers with the breath-taking views on the whole surroundings. We are also going to have a delicious lunch on the top of the peak and after that go back to our camp near the Lake.
Day 3
On the third day we are going to organize the walking tour straight to the Amberd fortress, which is situated at the height of about 2300 meters above the sea level. Closer o the evening we are going to come back to Yerevan.
Day 4
Early in the morning we are going to start our trip to Sevaberd village and we re going to travel straight across Abovyan. After reaching that point, the hiking tour to the plateau of Mount Ajdahak will be waiting for us. It will last about five hours straight and in the end we will have a lunch at our camping area at the Lake Akna.
Day 5
At last we are going to climb the Mount Ajdahak, which is about 3900 meters high and on the crater of which you will be able to watch and incredibly emerald glacial lake.
Day 6
On the day six we will go hiking to Geghard village to attend the Geghard Monastery and its unique cave that are both included in the World UNESCO Heritage list. After a short lunch we will also visit the Garni castle - a summer residence of Armenian kings, which is also included into the World UNESCO Heritage list
Day 7
During the last day of the tour we are going to explore the gorgeous city of Yerevan and all of its main sightseeings, visiting different museums, stores and even the flea market.
