Baja Fresh Opens Newly Remodeled Alhambra, CA Restaurant
Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, the quick-casual fresh Mexican chain, announced the grand re-opening of its Baja Fresh in Alhambra, CA on May 4, 2010.
The newly remodeled restaurant has been designed to fit within the new “Guest Choice” Baja Fresh prototype and is the 6th of this style the brand has opened since late 2008. The new “Guest Choice” prototype encompasses Baja Fresh’s latest restaurant design, service and customizable menu. Customers will notice a distinctly new interior incorporating the use of natural wood, stone and warm colors, in addition to a more accommodating seating plan. Additionally, the menu is designed to incorporate more customization. First, guests select their choice of protein; fire grilled fresh chicken, steak, shrimp, Mahi Mahi, or lean & slow roasted Pork Carnitas. Next they are offered a choice of a burrito, taco platter or salad with numerous different flavor and signature recipe styles, with the option to “spice it up” or choose a milder Roasted Tomatillo salsa. Guests may also choose to visit Baja Fresh’s signature salsa bar with 6 fresh salsas made throughout the day. Finally the guest will experience a new service style with entrees delivered tableside. “We believe customers new and old will truly enjoy the new Baja Fresh experience!” said Charles Rink, Baja Fresh President.

The nearly 2900 square foot Baja Fresh is located at 410 E. Main Street in Alhambra, CA. It is owned and operated by John Janshai of Western Foods Inc. Janshai also owns and operates a Baja Fresh in Costa Mesa, CA and is thrilled to re-open the location in Alhambra. “I'm excited by the opportunity to open the latest Baja Fresh prototype, with a brand new décor package, menu and service style. The Alhambra location was a proven success in the past, and I feel the new design and menu will be even more popular.” Janshai plans to issue some “Grand Reopening Incentives” to guests, along with visiting local businesses with coupons informing them of the restaurant’s presence in the neighborhood once again.
