Costa Rica Adventure!

While most countries capital cities are the main attraction that draw in tourists, Costa Rica is something completely different. With so many incredible cities to visit and explore, the capital city is hardly the only site to see. Costa Rica's capital city of San Jose is the  biggest metropolitan city in the country with the usual fixings, with chic department stores,small cafes, and traditional Latin American infrastructure. Beyond that, one of the most visited cities in the country is Monteverde, known for its incredible ziplining through the cloud forest. There are observation decks, long tails, and even suspension bridges to give you the view of the mountains through the foggy skies.

Costa Rica being well known for its ecotouris, it's no surprise that La Fortuna is another city on the must-see list. Home to the Arenal Volcano, this city is quaint and very welcoming to visitors, with plenty of hostels to stay at. The Sleeping Indian, for example, is a tourist favorite, with cheap rates and a friendly environment. Also, nothing beats a late night trip to an active, natural hot spring! Finally, Manuel Antonio makes the cut for one of the best towns to visit while visiting scenic Costa Rica. Even though the National Park of Manuel Antonio is the smallest in the country, it is arguably the best as it is home to the majority of the countries endangered species.  Not only is it full of tropical forests, but it encompasses some beautiful beaches. All in all, Costa Rica is a huge treasure in the middle of Central America full of more surprises than it's small size might suggest.
