How to help traveler plan his budget

Nowadays, many travelers don’t want to spend their time on exploring the historical parts of the country, on visiting the entertainment shows or listening the studied monotonous speech about the standard sightseeings of the city. Most of them are longing to create their own individual route with the professionally planned budget, especially beginners or travelers that don’t believe the information, placed on the Internet and better choose to trust the answers of a professional private guide. So what questions should you ask and what things keep in your mind in order to help you traveler plan his/her budget in the better way?

At first, learn about how many people are going to visit your tour and whether there are any children among them. Then ask your traveler whether he/she has already been to your country, what sightseeings he/she has already visited, specify his certain wishes and preferable kinds of the tour – walking/car/eco/sightseeing or any other tour and so on.
It would also be great to be informed about the most appropriate variants of expensive and quite cheap hotels in your city or even about some apartments for rent, to keep in mind few restaurants with the national cuisine, some nearby souvenir shops and, of course, the average prices of the entrance tickets to the popular museums, exhibitions and so on.
After you have learned about all these basic details of your travelers’ plans, it would be easier for you to understand their expectations and help your clients (including the ones from TravelPapa Guides :) ) plan their budget in the right way.
