HITEC 2010 Welcome Reception Held at Rosen Centre

Along with the largest hospitality technology trade show and a top-notch education program, HITEC 2010® (Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference) offers the opportunity for attendees to network with colleagues and exhibitors during the HITEC Welcome Reception on Monday, June 21 at the Rosen Centre.

The Welcome Reception begins at 6 p.m., immediately following the HITEC Opening Session with notorious fraudster Frank Abagnale, Jr. The former con artist extraordinaire, whose crimes inspired the memoir and movie Catch Me If You Can, is one of the world's most respected authorities on forgery, embezzlement and secure documents.

"The Rosen Centre's well-known hospitality and convenient location across from the convention center make for a perfect setting for this year's Welcome Reception," said Frank Wolfe, CAE, CEO of HFTP. "This is a great opportunity for everyone to gather together in a casual environment to catch up with old friends or meet new ones."

Produced by HFTP® (Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals), HITEC is the world's largest hospitality technology exposition and conference. The conference is June 21-24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. It offers attendees a one-stop shop for essential education, access to experts and hospitality technology vendors, networking with top leaders in the industry and the resources to find cost-effective ways to improve company bottom lines.

Just minutes away from the Orlando International Airport and located adjacent to the Orange County Convention Center, the Rosen Centre includes a full-service concierge desk, high-speed Internet access in all guest rooms, off-site airline check-in and a TSA approved remote skycap service that allows guests to receive their airline boarding passes and check their luggage directly from the hotel. Attendees that stay at the Rosen Centre can enjoy eight restaurants and lounges, as well as the Body & Sol Spa, a fitness center featuring state-of-the-art equipment, a heated tropical pool and lighted tennis courts.
