Auburn Hills Marriott Ranked #2 for Event Satisfaction Among Marriott Hotels

The hotel recently received high marks in an event assessment that was given to all Marriott brand hotels in the United States. The Auburn Hills Marriott was rated first and second in several of the assessment's categories due to its exceptional service, spacious meeting facilities and ample amenities. 

The hotel was ranked second among all Marriott brand hotels in the category of event satisfaction. In addition to the number two ranking, the hotel was ranked first in several areas, including:

  • Food and beverage-overall

  • Partnering with guests to achieve a successful event

  • Overall service in sales

  • Responsiveness in sales

  • Food and beverage-staff service and timeliness


General Manager Steve Sines states, "We have great associates and managers here that love to exceed the guests' expectations. We take pride in every event and our associates are focused to make sure it runs the way it is designed." 

Sines goes on to say that the hotel's staff does a variety of things to exceed their guests' expectations, including providing guests with their own event planner. The hotel's Auburn Hills event planner assesses the needs of the guests and then provides them with everything they need for their event. They plan the catering menu, decorate the event space and stock the room with all of the necessary equipment. 

In addition to the meeting services, the hotel offers other features and amenities that make business travelers more comfortable. One such feature is the Parkway Grill and Lounge. This restaurant in Auburn Hills offers American food in a casual setting. People can go there before and after meetings to relax and unwind.
