Best Western Promotes Ron Pohl to SVP, Brand Management and Member Services

In this new role, Pohl will oversee North American development in addition to managing a number of key departments including customer care, member care, education and training, revenue management and international quality assurance. PHOENIX--()--Best Western International today announced the promotion of Ron Pohl to senior vice president, brand management and member services. In this new role, Pohl will oversee North American development in addition to managing a number of key departments including customer care, member care, education and training, revenue management and international quality assurance. He also serves on the company’s executive committee and leads its Brand Management Team.

Pohl, who brings nearly 30 years of industry experience to the position, most recently served as a vice president, where he led a cross-department team to roll out a comprehensive training campaign to help Member hotels weather the economic crisis.
