Skating above the city: a new rooftop skating rink has just appeared in Budapest
The very special thing about this skating rink is that Budapest is the exact city, which is totally worth seeing from the bird’s eye view, due to its picturesque tiled roofs, gorgeous architecture, historical monuments, beautiful domes of the local cathedrals and many many other things. So just imagine combining two of the most exciting things of this winter - admiring all of this beauty of the capital from above, enjoying the skating at the same time! Sounds cool, isn’t it?
The skating rink is called Intermezzo Ice Terrace and it’s absolutely free for those, who live in the hotel, otherwise you will have to pay about a little less than $4. The skating rink in general is quite small, so that it may include only about twenty people at the same time. Besides renting all the necessary equipment, it is also possible to taste all the main Hungarian holiday snacks and dishes, typical winter hot drinks, sweets and many many other things.
