Frontier Airlines Makes Changes at Milwaukee Hub

Two New Destinations; More Convenient Schedules

Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today announced it will launch two new destinations out of its Milwaukee hub. The new service includes twice-daily nonstop flights between Milwaukee’s General Mitchell International Airport (MKE) and Hartford’s Bradley International Airport (BDL) beginning Sept. 27, 2010, and four weekly roundtrips to San Antonio International Airport (SAT) beginning Nov. 19, 2010. Fares will be available for purchase on FrontierAirlines.com beginning July 1 for the San Antonio service and July 4 for the Hartford service.

“Frontier Airlines will be the only carrier providing nonstop service between Milwaukee and both Hartford and San Antonio”

“Frontier Airlines will be the only carrier providing nonstop service between Milwaukee and both Hartford and San Antonio,” said Daniel Shurz, VP of strategy and planning. “With the addition of this service we continue our commitment to providing the state of Wisconsin with more destinations, convenient schedules and affordable air fares.”

In addition to the new destinations, Frontier Airlines is also making a number of adjustments to flight schedules out of Milwaukee on Nov. 19. The carrier will upgrade the aircraft serving several of its popular destinations out of Milwaukee. This will include an upgrade to Airbus A319 service on all Boston (BOS), Washington, D.C. (DCA), and New York (LGA) flights, which were previously served with a combination of Embraer 170 and 190 and Airbus A319 aircraft. The carrier will also upgrade all Milwaukee-Philadelphia (PHL) flights from ERJ 145 to E170 service.

Also effective with the Nov. 19 schedule change, Frontier will readjust its early morning and late evening flights to more convenient, easily accessible times, as well as seasonally reducing the number of connecting banks in Milwaukee from four to three.

“This is yet another step in our continued effort to provide our guests with the best possible travel experience,” said Shurz. “Better schedules and larger aircraft will equate to even greater convenience, more comfort and affordable air fares for our guests traveling in and out of Milwaukee.”

Frontier also announced that beginning Sept. 7, 2010, it will discontinue service between Milwaukee and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) and it will accelerate the suspension of its seasonal service to San Diego. All passengers booked on those routes after Sept. 7 will be contacted by the airline for re-accommodation on other flights.
