Hanukah Special 2009

EL AL is pleased to introduce an offer for its Matmid Club members.
Members traveling round trip from the USA to Tel Aviv departing December 7, 2009 – March 23, 2010 are eligible for this special offer as detailed below:

Hanukah Special Rules and Restrictions:

1. Ticket Type: Economy Class Round Trip ticket. 
2. Reservations and ticketing in G class. 
3. Valid for departures from the USA between December 7, 2009 and March 23, 2010 inclusive.
4. Ticketing deadline: December 31, 2009.
5. Minimum stay 6 days / Maximum stay 30 days.
6. Reservations can be made through any travel agency or through EL AL at: 800 223 6700. Ticket issuance through EL AL Airlines only.
7. The Hanukah Special is for new reservations only, made on or after the date the special was published.
8. Vouchers can be issued through the EL AL website via the E-clubs.
9. A Hanukah Special voucher should only be issued once you have a confirmed reservation as there’s a $30 cancellation fee after voucher issuance.
10. A Hanukah Special voucher may be cancelled and points returned only if the voucher has not yet been ticketed.
11. Once ticketed the Hanukah Special is non-refundable.
12. If you wish to change your travel date once you are ticketed there is a $170 fee.
13. Ticketing requirements: Reservations made for the Hanukah Special up to 14 days before departure must be ticketed within 72 hours. Reservations made within 14 days before departure must be ticketed within 24 hours of the initial booking. Those reservations not ticketed within the noted time frames will automatically be canceled. Any ticket requiring issuance within 3 business days will incur a $50 Rush fee.
14. No ticket will be issued in less than 1 business day.
15. No waitlists allowed.
16. The Hanukah Special cannot be upgraded.
17. No points will be earned on the Hanukah Special tickets.
18. Once ticketed neither the money nor the points used to pay for a Hanukah Special bonus ticket are refundable.
19. The ticket prices detailed above are for roundtrip travel. It is not possible to purchase a one way ticket.
20. Valid on EL AL flights operated by EL AL only, even in the event of flight cancellations or changes made by the airline.
21. Not applicable on code share flights.
22. All travel must originate from the USA.
23. Combination of Gateways not allowed.
24. The amount of seats available for this promotion are limited.
25. G Class not available on all EL AL flights.
26. Name changes not allowed.
27. Child, Infant & Senior discounts are not applicable to the Hanukah Special.
28. If you are transferring points from one of our Credit Card Partners to obtain the points required for this special, be aware that it can take up to 10 business days for the points to appear in your Matmid account.
