Lake Garda
Garda is arguably the most popular of the Italian lakes and is conveniently located for excursions to Verona and golf within the region. Three picturesque and challenging courses are within easy travelling distance from our hotels in Desenzano or the super new 4 star Paradiso complex.

Verona is one of Italy's most beautiful cities and strikingly combines the old with the new. It's many historical buildings, churches and castles can be found close to modern bars, cafes and restaurants in the main 'piazzas'. The world famous Roman 'arena' amphitheatre hosts a series of open air operas in July and August. Paradiso is a fantastic new complex near Lake Garda in northern Italy. As well as a choice of accommodations and an impressive array of leisure facilities there is also a golf course on site as well.
Accommodation

There are different accommodation styles at the Paradiso complex to choose from with a self-service buffet restaurant in the main hotel for those on half board and full board basis:

• Modern 4 star rated hotel with twin en-suite bedrooms
• Self-catering apartments sleeping 4 persons

Other hotels in Desenzano and also Verona would be available on request as well as accommodation at the 5 star Arzaga complex itself.
Facilities
There are2 lovely courses featured in the region as well as golf at the Paradiso resort.

Verona
A very picturesque course which a leading journalist described as one of the finest conditioned courses outside of America. The front 9 are shorter holes with narrow fairways whilst the back 9 are more open but play much longer. There’s a beautiful clubhouse serving typical local food and wine. Course record (65) by Jesper Parnevik in 1988.

Gardagolf
This is a well manicured course with olive, cypress and old oak tree lined fairways and a number of water hazards which make this both a technical and challenging course. There are marvellous panoramic views of the Valtanesi hills, Soiano Castle and Lake Garda. The gofl country club has bar, restaurant, swimming pool and tennis courts. The course was the venue for the 1997 Italian Open.
