Cheap Caribbean Airlines Flights (BW)
Overview
Caribbean Airlines was founded on September 27, 2006. Being the national airline of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Caribbean Airlines began its low-budget flight operations on January 1, 2007.
The airline, which operated cheap flights in the Caribbean region as well as in the USA and Europe, created one-way fares inclusive of taxes and fees that provided flexible fare combinations and extended stay options. The new fare program was also initiated to assume a permanent discounted fare, senior citizen discounts and no change fees for students.
In 2007, Caribbean Airlines became the first airline in the region to launch an initiative to provide sustainable air travel with the CarbonNeutral program. This way, Caribbean Airlines offered passengers the opportunity to offset airline carbon emissions by investing in eco-friendly projects.
In the same year, Caribbean Airlines added more low-priced flights from throughout the Caribbean region to its ranks. The recruitment from other Caribbean Community nations showed the airlines’ commitment to being the airline for the whole of the Caribbean. The airline rented an additional Boeing 737-800 to facilitate its schedule and increase the number of flights to its market to provide more cheap flights, low-cost tickets and great airfares, in general, for its customers to gather family and friends around the world.
By the end of 2007, the success of Caribbean Airlines was evident in its continual growth. In early 2008, Caribbean Airlines inaugurated daily service to Caracas, Venezuela. The new daily return flight was the first network expansion since the airline started operating. That led to the introduction of a daily service to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Thus, Caribbean Airline became the only regionally based airline with the most direct low-budget flights from Trinidad to South Florida. This growth was also complemented by significant costs savings and increase quality control with the in-sourcing of heavy maintenance for the airline’s fleet.
At the present time, Caribbean Airlines serves 16 markets in the Caribbean, South America and North America, operating a schedule of 530 weekly departures with a fleet of 21 aircraft. Being acquired by Caribbean Airlines on May 26, 2011, the routes of Air Jamaica came into possession of the new leadership, which currently employs more than a thousand employees with the Air Jamaica headcount at 650.
From its main hubs at Piarco International Airport (POS) and Norman Manley International Airport (KIN), Carribean Airlines offers a range of 18 domestic and international destinations for the best airfares and low-cost tickets on cheap flights from the Southern Caribbean to Jamaica, as well as South America, including Suriname, Guyana and Venezuela. The airline also serves the United States and Canada, in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, New York and Toronto, having also established a code share agreement with British Airways, for services to London and beyond. Since August 2010, the company is also furnishing cheap flights to India, after it signed a travel pact with Air India.
With its fleet of 25 aircraft, Caribbean Airlines fulfills its aim to ensure all its passengers with “the warmth of the Islands” as the slogan of the company says, providing them best special airline deals, affordable prices and low-cost tickets also.
